Our self catering Holiday Cottages are set in beautiful rolling unspoilt countryside in Lower Teesdale on the Durham/Yorkshire border. There are two luxuriously appointed stone built 18th century converted barns, sleeping 8 and 7 guests. Placed 200 meters apart, separated by a wild flower meadow.

Conveniently situated with in easy reach of northern England's most beautiful scenery and historic sites, including the North Pennines, Yorkshire Dales, Durham Cathedral, Barnard Castle, Richmond, Hadrians Wall, Newcastle and the Lakes. Locally there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes through peaceful lanes and quiet limewashed hamlets.

Our village property is Church Cottage, which sits on the village green of Gainford next door to the church, sleeping four guests.
