Directions

From A1 North

Leave the A1 at junction 58 for Bishop Auckland/Corbridge A68. Travel 4 miles along the A68 and turn lef toward Bolam/Ingleton. At the next crossroads turn left down the bank on to the B6275. Travel 2 miles and turn right to Staindrop on the B6279. Pass through Summerhouse, go past the left turn for Headlam, the Mill Granary and Mill Byre are sign posted at the next left turn (If you reach Ingleton you have gone too far!).

From A1 South

One mile after Scotch Corner, leave the motorway at the exit for B6275 toward Piercebridge. At Piercebridge, turn right by crossing the A67, then almost immediately, turn left continuing along hte B6275 toward Corbridge and Royal Oak. After 2 miles, turn left on to the B6279 toward Staindrop. Pass through Summerhouse and past the left hand turning for Headlam. We are the next left-hand turning, opposite the layby on your right. The sign says Mill Granary/Mill Byre. After 50 metres, turn left toward The Mill Byre (if you reach Ingleton, you have gone too far!).

From A68 North

On reaching West Auckland, take the A688 toward Barnard Castle passing through Evenwood Gate. After 1 mile, you will see the Sun Inn pub on your right. Turn left here toward Hilton and Ingleton. At the next T-junction, turn left into the village of Ingleton and continue through, 1/3 mile after the village, turn right up to The Mill Granary and The MIll Byre. We are two field in from the road.
